GDPR Compliance Details

Data Processing

Legal Basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for providing web analytics services.

Data Collected: Hashed IP addresses, timestamps, approximate geographic location, page views.

Purpose: Providing visitor counting and basic analytics for website owners.

Retention: Daily aggregated data is retained indefinitely. Individual visit hashes are rotated daily.

Security: IP addresses are immediately hashed using SHA-256 with daily-rotating salt values.
